Copyright and Takedown Policy
How to report a URL, identify the relevant rights and request appropriate action.
Save Video Online is intended for media the user owns or is authorised to save. We review sufficiently detailed copyright and rights complaints.
Information to include
Email savevideoonline@hotmail.com with:
- Your full name, organisation and reliable contact details.
- Identification of the protected work or rights involved.
- The exact source URL submitted to the service.
- Evidence that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner.
- A clear explanation of why the complained-of use is unauthorised.
- The action you request.
- A good-faith statement that the information supplied is accurate.
How we may respond
We may request additional information, investigate the URL, preserve relevant operational records, block a URL or domain, restrict repeated misuse, refer the matter to a hosting provider or authority, or decline an incomplete, abusive or unsupported complaint.
Temporary files
The service does not operate a permanent public media library. Generated files expire automatically. A block may nevertheless be applied to prevent repeated processing of a reported URL or source.
Counter-information
A user or rights holder may provide information showing permission, ownership, licensing or another lawful basis. We may consider competing information but do not act as a court and cannot determine complex ownership disputes.
False or misleading notices
Do not submit knowingly false, misleading or abusive complaints. A notice does not automatically establish ownership or infringement.
